As I sat down to type this, I couldn’t help but reminisce about visiting my grandparents and my grandfather would always say its time to watch Bubba. I replay those moments over and over each time I think about it. So that brings me to this post. Over the past few months I had kept hearing tale of the 30 year reunion happening in Covington Ga this coming weekend and what a way to spend my birthday weekend but to take a surprise trip down and enjoy the festivities.
As I was researching the internet trying to get a game plan ready, I discovered that the reunion had been cancelled. Kinda like when I found out the show was cancelled I was dishearten.
But at least all us Heaters out here can still enjoy reruns of our favorite show right? I have said for a few years now that I am going to do more with this site to help keep the tradition and show alive. Over the past few months I have looked at several different themes and tested out how the site would look with them. Needless to say I haven’t found the one yet. But I am still looking.
It is awesome to see each time I log in, just how many fans are still out there. Just by signing up as a subscriber show that Heat is still with us and as long as there are still fans, Bubba, Chief, Parker, Tibbs and the rest of the gang will be there.
It’s been 30 years really? ITHOTN premiered in 1988 so Happy Birthday Heat. Hard to believe but you can still see Sparta aka Covington Ga. anytime. Make sure you start out at their Visitors Center and check out all the shows & films that called Covington home.
Well I guess that just about wraps up this post. So keep watching Heat and when I see or hear any news about Heat events I will post so that all Heaters have a chance to get in on the action.
